Located within Bukit Darmo Golf, one of Surabaya’s most prestigious golf estate residential compounds in West Surabaya, this residence was completed by Studio RWA in 2020 covering interior design and project management. The design centers on a natural material dialogue between two of interior design’s most enduring elements; marble and solid wood. Cool, veined marble surfaces bring a sense of refinement and visual weight to the key spaces, while warm natural wood finishes on floors, paneling, and furniture pull the atmosphere back toward comfort and livability. Together these two materials create an interior that feels simultaneously sophisticated and grounded, elevated without feeling cold. The home captures exactly what modern luxury should feel like; a space where beautiful materials are allowed to speak for themselves, supported by thoughtful spatial planning and restrained decorative choices throughout.
