Located in Malang, East Java, this single-storey residence was completed by Studio RWA in 2026 covering interior design and project management. At 500m2, the home presented an interesting design challenge, achieving a sense of luxury and richness within a compact, single-level layout. The solution was to maximize vertical space through high ceilings that immediately lift the feel of every room, while layering in carefully curated design details that reward closer inspection. Every corner of the home serves a purpose, with no space wasted and no element included without intention. The result is a home that punches well above its footprint, compact in layout but generous in character, with an aesthetic refinement that rivals much larger residences.
